Penne with sausage and artichokes


LaSelva Extra virgin olive oil
500 g LaSelva Penne
4 fresh artichokes
or LaSelva Artichokes in olive oil
1 Tuscan sausage
alternatively, 200 g of bacon
2 tablespoons of LaSelva Chopped vegetables in salt
2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION TIME approx. 45 minutes


| In a frying pan brown over low heat the LaSelva Chopped vegetables in salt for 5 minutes with a drizzle of olive oil and the sausage without skin or alternatively the diced bacon.

2 | Clean the artichokes and cut them into thin strips. Sprinkle them with lemon juice so that they do not oxidize, and add them to the pan. Alternatively drain the LaSelva artichokes from their oil, slice and put them in the pan. Then pour half a glass of water and cook for 30 minutes.

3 | Cook the pasta for about 10 minutes in salted water. Drain and sauté in the pan with the artichokes and the sausage. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
