Our wine cellar
Cantina LaSelva was built in 2002. It is located in the area of production of Morellino di Scansano DOCG wine, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. A good part of the wine cellar, which can contain up to 7000 hectolitres of wine, is underground, providing the ideal conditions for the production of good quality organic wines.
Our wine cellar uses cutting-edge techniques regarding temperature control, fermentation and delicate pumping. Our organic and vegan wines mature – depending on each wine’s needs – in 40 stainless steel cisterns and 100 barriques for a total of 3600 hectolitres. We produce 210,000 bottles every year which are filled directly here.

The culture of wine
Grapes are nature, wine is culture! Our work as winemakers blends nature and culture. Our passion and love for nature and its ecological balance, together with the meticulous care we put into our vineyards and lands turn our grapes into wines with great personality.
Our philosophy is to accompany the grapes throughout the wine making process drawing on the experience we have gained over the years. We do not use additives and we follow a simple but strict wine cellar technique, applying the organic principles we have adhered to for over 35 years with a totally professional and reliable approach.
This is why we invest above all in native grape varieties such as Vermentino, Ciliegiolo, Sangiovese, Black Malvasia and Pugnitello, which better express our “Terroire”.
